I appreciate all art because it's the expression of the particular artist vision. For this particular artist Jasper Johns his work is cool but it really doesn't speak to me as an art enthusiast myself. Not much going on just can't understand the vision nothing more nothing less, because I would never actually "hate" on an artist that has his own vision but just personally its not speaking to me that's it.
Same here Dylan. Just because I don't understand what the artist themselves want to express doesn't mean that I hate them. Hating on other artists is so shallow anyway. It's just that their art doesn't make me enthusiastic. Although I do like some of Jasper Johns's work. Nice blog post by the way. :)
